Woodlands Church, as recovery efforts continue in the Hill Country, we will be coming alongside in the following ways. Please join us by:
1. Pray – Continue to pray for the many communities and lives impacted by the devastating flooding. With Christ we have hope, and we look to the Creator of the Universe for wisdom, guidance, and peace during tragedy.
2. Give – Your generosity continues to allow us to make a difference in the lives of so many. Our Disaster Relief ministry is preparing, and your giving makes a difference in our impact. Donate here and choose “Disaster Relief” from the drop-down menu.
3. Serve – Our first two teams are back from deployment and have made a major difference in the lives of people impacted by the floods. Our church partners are forever grateful to our teams for showing up consistently ready to work and spread the hope we have in Christ. Our next team will be deploying from August 8-10. These teams have limited spots available. If you would like to join us, please click here to begin the process.
4. Counseling – We will be supporting local Pastors, ministry leaders, and first responders with much needed mental and spiritual counseling/support. Many of them are leading their communities through something like this for the very first time. Woodlands Church is uniquely positioned through God’s power to assist in this area. Be praying for our team that will be delivering this support in such a challenging environment.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
