Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant that will provide support to the WC/Kids department and be the liaison for ministry programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage phone, email, web inquiries in a timely fashion; sharing the ministry vision, purpose, and goals
  • Act as liaison for the ministry to other departments, campuses, and leaders
  • Track ministry accounting and budgets, including deposits, expenses, purchase orders & check requests
  • Maintain & order supplies for events as needed
  • Run all background checks for potential and current WCKids volunteers
  • Communicate with Facilities Department with event needs (set-up, water, etc.)
  • Create & maintain weekly WC/Kids attendance reports
  • Support the switchboard team by taking rotational shifts to answer calls to the church’s main phone line
  • Available on weekends/evenings for ministry events as needed
  • Available during Christmas and Easter services as needed
  • Manage team calendar, track schedules, coverage, and time off
  • Assist with all other ministry areas as needed


  • 5+ years’ related work experience required
  • High school degree required; additional formal training and education preferred
  • High attention to detail; strong organization/administrative abilities
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • High technical skill and aptitude (databases, Office products, web & social media savvy)
  • Customer Service mindset
  • People/relational team building skills
  • Problem solving abilities; process mindset
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt and anticipate in a creatively flexible environment
