Woodlands Church, as recovery efforts continue in the Hill Country, we will be coming alongside in the following ways. Please join us by:
1. Pray – Continue to pray for the many communities and lives impacted by the devastating flooding. With Christ we have hope, and we look to the Creator of the Universe for wisdom, guidance, and peace during tragedy.
2. Give – Your generosity continues to allow us to make a difference in the lives of so many. Our Disaster Relief ministry is preparing, and your giving makes a difference in our impact. Donate here and choose “Disaster Relief” from the drop-down menu.
3. Serve – We are currently partnering with local churches and ministries preparing to join them in relief efforts at the appropriate time. Why are we waiting? We do not want to add any additional strain to the devastated infrastructure. When things become more stable, recovery efforts have concluded, and volunteer housing becomes more available, we plan to join the community and support those who are hurting. Please click here if you are interested in potentially joining a team to deploy to the Hill Country. We will follow up with you and provide any necessary training.
4. Counseling – We will be supporting local Pastors, ministry leaders, and first responders with much needed mental and spiritual counseling/support. Many of them are leading their communities through something like this for the very first time. Woodlands Church is uniquely positioned through God’s power to assist in this area. Be praying for our team that will be delivering this support in such a challenging environment.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
