Woodlands Church Family,
Chris and I thank God for the privilege of leading you, our church family, during both the good and the challenging times we experience together. Coronavirus may have recently disrupted our world, our nation, and even our community, but we can fearlessly stand on the hope of Christ and the promises of His word during these uncertain times. Prepare to be encouraged this weekend as we bring to you a timely message and powerful online worship experience, live from Woodlands Church!
In an effort to be wise and protect the most vulnerable among us we will not be meeting in our physical locations this weekend. But we will still be gathering together for a powerful service of hope at multiple Church Online live services this weekend and every day next week. Please make plans to join us for Church Online at one of the above services for live chat and prayer.
As an added feature to this weekend's online experiences, our pastors will be hosting live chat and engaging directly with you in discussion and prayer. If you can't make it to Church Online this weekend, we will be streaming every weekday this week at 10am and 7pm with live chat and prayer.
Over the coming days, we promise to monitor the Coronavirus situation very closely. We will be providing updates and opportunities for ministry on a regular basis throughout the week. In the meantime, we encourage you to:
- PRAY for healing for those who have been impacted and afflicted directly by Coronavirus. Pray that God would stem the tide and spread of the virus, and protect those who are weak and most vulnerable to it. Pray that this crisis would be an open door for Woodlands Church to share the love of Christ to many throughout our community and world.
- CHECK ON the well-being of family, friends or neighbors who are most at risk, i.e., those who are over the age of 60 with lowered immunity due to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, or upper respiratory problems.
- GET READY to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and region as we prepare to meet the needs of those who are impacted locally; and
- GIVE wholeheartedly and sacrificially of your time, talent and treasure during this time. Your giving is crucial in order for the church to maintain its regular ministries, missions and operations. We must also be prepared to respond quickly and resourcefully to the needs and expenses that a large-scale crisis presents. We encourage you to give through PushPay online or by using our mobile app, or by logging on to WC.org/Give.
