Life Groups Team – Pastor – full-time; Woodlands Campus

Job Summary:

We have opportunities for Life Groups Pastors to grow, manage and oversee Life Groups at the Woodlands Campus. Pastors lead a team of staff and volunteers, equipping and building relationships with hosts and leaders to connect people in community and grow people spiritually at Woodlands Church.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Focus on connecting with people from the congregation, encouraging them to progress in their spiritual journeys.
  • Connect, know and follow up with attendees of our church
  • Move people from atheists to missionaries, help them take the next step
  • Recruit, train, equip and launch new Life Group Hosts/Leaders
  • Grow overall community through Life Groups at WC (Acts 2:46-47)
  • Build out discipleship program through one on one mentoring
  • Recruit, train and oversee coaches that lead and invest in Life Group hosts
  • Manage team of Life Group staff and coaches (volunteers) at the Woodlands Campus
  • Support Men’s, Women’s, Singles and Couples ministries and events
  • Develop and work with a team of both staff and volunteers to directly plan and implement above ministries and events
  • Recruit and develop volunteers for the ministry.
  • Provide consistent training, development and feedback to team members using the Woodlands Church Peak Performance program.
  • Will be mentored and will potentially mentor other team members regularly.
  • Know, own and cast Woodlands Church’s vision to team members and volunteers.
  • Look for opportunities to connect departments and ministries across the organization to impact our communities more effectively.
  • Work 4 days during the week, plus weekend services with 1 day off determined by supervising pastor. Expect 50+ hours a week.
  • Available for weekend services, church events and major holidays.
